Polish priest martyred by the Communists after WWII beatified in Krakow
The Russians did not like Father Michal Rapacz's zealous work, particularly with young people, and shot him in 1946. After one of his sermons, he had said, 'Though I should fall dead, I will not cease to preach this Gospel and I will not renounce my own cross.'
