President Yoweri Museveni wants lawmakers to make an addition that would protect 'psychologically disoriented' Ugandans who want to 'come out' about their disordered sexuality in order to seek help.
‘Africa should provide the lead to save the world from this degeneration and decadence which is really very dangerous for humanity,’ said Uganda president Yoweri Museveni.
'In our country, we will have our morals. We will protect our children. We are making this law for ourselves. We are making this law for our children. We are making this law for the children of our children.'
This comes after months of revelations in the Ugandan press about the prevalence of homosexuality among young people, especially in schools and other institutions of learning.
