A Toronto judge has ruled that there is enough merit in the complaint of abuse of process in the prosecution against Gibbons to warrant three days of hearings into the matter.
The initiative would have mandated that the state “protect the natural right to life and body of all mankind from the beginning of biological development.”
At issue is Vanderbilt’s nurse residency application, which states that applicants "will be expected to care for women undergoing termination of pregnancy.”
