The attorney general has counted 427,000 valid signatures, well over the threshold of 358,000 valid signatures to get the amendment on the ballot in November.
“Although he’s not someone we would support politically because of his pro-abortion stand, we do pray for him," said Mary Ellen Douglas, Campaign Life Coalition’s national organizer.
