Jesus is ‘their eternal bridegroom’: Sisters of Life make final vows in St Patrick’s Cathedral
(LifeSiteNews) — Earlier this year, on the feast of the Transfiguration, six members of the Sisters of Life made their final profession at St Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City, in a service presided over by Cardinal Timothy Dolan. LifeSiteNews Video Director, Michael Hogan, was present at the event and captured some of its most beautiful moments in this inspiring video.
The Sisters of Life is a contemplative / active religious community of women founded in 1991 by John Cardinal O’Connor for the protection and enhancement of the sacredness of every human life. Like all religious communities, we take the three traditional vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. We also are consecrated under a special, fourth vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life.
