WASHINGTON, Apr 30 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Reports released yesterday from the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Allan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) indicate that the rate of teen pregnancy in 1996 has dropped by 17 per cent from a high in 1990. There were approximately 880,000 teen pregnancies in 1996 – just under one for every 10 teen women. Furthermore, the rate of abortions among teenagers dropped 31 per cent from 1986-1996 with just over 1 in three pregnant teens aborting in 1996. AGI, the research arm of Planned Parenthood, immediately claimed that the reduced rates were due to […]
OTTAWA, Apr 30 (Lifesitenews.com) – In an effort to decrease the financial hardship of adoption, and thus to make it an easier option for more families to choose, Calgary Centre MP Eric Lowther introduced a private members bill yesterday which proposes a tax deduction for adoption-related expenses. Under the proposed legislation, a taxpayer deduction of up to $7,000 for expenses related to adoption would be allowed. “Adoption is a gentle option to ensure that a child can be placed with loving parents,” said Lowther, upon the introduction his bill.
HARRISBURG, PA, Apr 30 (Lifesitenews.com) – The legal arm of the pro-abortion-on-demand movement, the New York-based Center for Reproductive Law and Policy (CRLP), defended in court this week a woman who illegally transported a 13-year-old girl across state lines for an abortion. The trip took place without the knowledge of the girl’s mother. In October 1996, Rosa M. Hartford of Sullivan County was convicted of interfering with the custody of a minor when she took the young girl, who had been raped at age 12 by her then 18-year-old stepson, to New York where she paid for the abortion of […]

According to BBC news, “six weeks after the calf was born, there was a sudden, dramatic fall in its red blood cell counts.” The calf died a week later and an autopsy reveled that the spleen, thymus and lymph nodes had not developed normally. Dr Harry Griffin, […]
Reason for students murdering classmates: “In a society where it is legal to take the life of your preborn child or withhold food from a disabled newborn, where physician assisted suicide is becoming widely accepted, where the innocence of children is no longer protected, but instead violated by sex-ed programs beginning in kindergarten, where (these) death-ed programs have been initiated in schools across the country, including Columbine High School, why are we surprised when young people choose death over life?” American Life League’s youth division Why Life? —Condemns woman over financial obligations of her grandchildren— MADISON, Wis, Apr 29 (LSN) – On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court reprimanded Racine Municipal Judge Robert Michelson for his comments to a woman who was asking for an extension to pay fines. The woman explained that she was short on money because she was caring for her daughter’s two young children, both born of different fathers. CALGARY, AB, Apr 29 (Lifesitenews.com) – The Calgary Regional Health Authority which oversees Foothills Hospital in Calgary wants Alberta Report magazine to hand over and destroy all evidence for a story they published two weeks ago on the hospital’s policy of forcing nurses against their will to participate and perform abortions. Alberta Report published an expose on Foothills which detailed their gruesome “genetic termination” practice – a late-term abortion method which has often resulted in live births at the hospital. The aborted but still living babies are refused food, water and medical treatment so that they will die. According to […]
